CLIMCO makes extensive use of thermal shock & thermal cycle testing.

  • For design validation CLIMCO usually targets 1,000 thermal shocks.

  • For ongoing process validation CLIMCO thermal cycles or thermal shocks a sampling of product every week for the life of the program. 

  • For product launch CLIMCO thermal cycles 100% of production to ensure a completely safe launch (typically six cycles).

Data acquisition systems continuously monitors each individual unit during thermal testing.
